Using research to build robots and teams through friendly competitions while nurturing creativity and new skills!
Is your child passionate about Robotics? Designed for ages 9+ our FIRST® LEGO® League training program is all about finding solutions to real-life challenges using real-world prototypes built with LEGO® bricks . Making part of our TeKniK Force Team will have your child engaged with other LEGO-loving friends to work together to understand and design solutions defined by FIRST® LEGO® League.
Our TeKniK Force team meets once a week for three-hour sessions at our TeKniK Lab in Kendall. The monthly tuition fee is $220.00 per child. (Plus a ONE TIME $65.00 registration fee)
Each training session the team works in finding solutions based on the annual challenge given by the FIRST® LEGO® League organization.
Through research, design, and experimentation (and even some homework😉) every team member is fully committed to playing his/her role to make positive contributions to the team.
Once a problem and solution is defined by the whole team, each member gets a specific role assigned to build and program a Robot using LEGO® EV3 Mindstorms® and participate on local competitions for a change to move further to regionals, nationals and even world events from children from all over the globe!
Does your child have any type of Robotics/Coding experience? If so, make sure to schedule a try out at our TeKniK Lab for a chance to become a TeKniK Force team member. If your child has no robotics experience but he/she is eager to learn and make our team, we also offer a Level 1 Introduction to Advanced Robotics class where he/she will learn the basics of LEGO EV3 Robotics on 4 weekly classes. Once the introductory program is completed, your child will be able to join our team!
In CARGO CONNECT, FIRST LEGO League teams will reimagine our global transportation system and explore ways of improving how we access and deliver needed and desired goods, making all communities more connected.
